Kahris darts around in the bushes on the edge of the dale, flashing in and out of view. What she is doing isn't exactly clear.
An unicorn with blue eyes has cleverly managed to find a small patch of sweet clover near those bushes, the clover having been hidden away and protected from grazing nestled between smaller brush. She /just/ dips her muzzle down to sate her sweet tooth when *something* darts around the bushes and distracts her. She stamps a forehoof in mild frustration and asks, "Who goes there!?"
Kahris grins widely when she finds out she's been noticed. She zips around in some bushes a ways away to make them rustle loudly. When she is satisfied with the attention-grabbing noise, she becomes very quiet and creeps to the other side of the unicorn, hidden beneath the leaves despite her pale coat.
An unicorn with blue eyes snorts and flicks her tassled tail. "I said, WHO GOES THERE?" She tilts and twists her head, trying to follow the rustling brush. She hooks, grabs and tugs on suspiciously-moving brush with a cloven forehoof.
Kahris scrambles out from the bush she was actually beneath, grin plastered across her muzzle. "Well I don't know who goes THERE, but I'm over here, if that's what you were asking."
An unicorn with blue eyes steps closer to the weasel, looking her over. "Why were you sneaking around? And who are you?" she interrogates.
Kahris wrinkles her muzzle up at the unicorn. "You sound like Glyn. I WASN'T sneaking. If you'd been paying better attention, you would've seen me a lot sooner." She bounces onto her hind legs, tucking her forepaws against herself.
An unicorn with blue eyes says, "Uh huh ... you weren't sneaking around by hiding, shaking bushes to distract me and put me in a huff? I could have seen you sooner, alright, if I trampled through all the brushes ... but then I'd have a mess to clean off my hooves." She snorts. "Since you won't tell me your name, I guess I get to make one up! How about ... SNEAKY! Yes, I will call you Sneaky! How are you doing, SNEAKY, I hope the day goes well for you, SNEAKY, and you can call me Lapis!"
ahris glares up at the unicorn. "My name isn't Sneaky! My name is Kahris! I just hadn't gotten to that yet! And that isn't being sneaky, it's called having fun!" She drops to all fours and runs in a tight circle before rearing up again. "And I would've gotten away from you even if you did try and trample me! You big animals are slow!"
Lapis, in a flash, charges with her head lowered whilst the weasel tries to explain how being sneaky isn't being sneaky if they're just playing a game, and how the weasel was too fast for unicorns to ever compromise. She keenly and carefully attempts, in a quick motion, to pinch the weasel between her sharp horn and the ground, but not prod hard enough to break skin or cause real pain.
Kahris, with all the agility of a small creature, manages to escape the trapping horn. However, in doing so, she grazes the horn and does get a small scratch, despite the unicorn's efforts. She cuts off her monologue with a horrified wail, as if in some terrible agony, and darts towards a copice as she cauterwauls. Some words start forming as she hides again. "You big meanie! I wasn't ready yet! Look at this! You've GORED me!"
Lapis oofs, her 'tude utterly destroyed by the unintentional injury, and it takes her a bit to regain some of her 'tude. "I'm sorry, Kahris, I thought you had said you were too fast for unicorns. I guess I heard you wrong. Since I gored you, I guess you must be dying ... do I need to learn burial rites?" She huffs and shakes her head. "I'm sorry, really ... I didn't mean to really hurt you."
Kahris sticks her head out from the leaves, chittering with anger. Her black eyes flash at the unicorn. "Clumsy beast!" she hisses, pulling back her head. Once again, the bushes do not rustle as she moves with care, heading for the way out of the dale. She comes out of the bushes for easier passage as she gets out of easy reach. "No one as slow and clumsy as you could EVER kill me!"
Lapis sighs and lowers her head guiltily. "I'm SORRY," she neighs a bit more loudly after the departing weasel. "Please don't be mad!" She snorts in frustration as the weasel disappears, then looks back to the herd, knowing she should let the herd leaders know she injured someone.
Kahris vanishes very quickly, chittering angrily as she does so.
