March/April 2012 Log Contest
Posted: Thu Apr 19, 2012 9:02 pmHey all! You are probably wondering one of two (or quite possibly two of two) things right about now. First, what happened to the log contest from last month? Wasn't there supposed to be one? Did it fall through a crack in space-time caused by the explosion of the last remaining time-traveling vehicle? Second, why in the world is this month's contest so ridiculously late? Did it come here by way of Australia?
Well. I have a couple of answers. To the first, yes that is precisely what happened. But it's okay, there were some clever shenanigans and now the universe is back to how it is supposed to be. (Also, due to not-very-much-RP in February due to February being a bad RL time for everybody, there were only a few RP logs submitted for the contest, and we decided not to post a contest for that month and instead to combine it with the next month. Bringing me to my next point...).
The log contest that was supposed to be posted at the beginning of this month is so extremely ridiculously late for the simple reason of Melz turned overwhelmed for no good reason and therefore lazy. And that is about the size of it. Sorry dudes! I will do my best to not do that thing again.
So without further sheepish/embarrassed stalling: the top picks for March and April.

- Brotherly Advice -- featuring Tyre and Tyren. Tyren brews hot koolaid and good fun is had by all.
- Sneaky -- featuring Kahris and Lapis. Let's just chalk it up to a cultural misunderstanding...
- Tea at Adelaide's -- featuring Lorcan, Saeryn, and Rafe. Nothing better than a hot drink with friends in the middle of a snowstorm.
- Uncomfortable Encounter -- featuring Raistlana and Abidath. For most people, encountering the enslavement of human sapient beings in Narnia is about like encountering worms in your cereal: squicky, alarming, and just not right. For others, it's an uncomfortable reminder.
