Eiderdown -- A huge Swan who guards the front gate.
Ferrus* -- A stern-faced Faun guard who takes his duties very seriously. Off-duty, he isn't above a smile or a joke. Often guards Chlamash.
Fleck* -- An excitable, energetic, eager Woodpecker that runs messages for the castle militia. Lands on people's heads, and pecks people's doors to let them know he's arrived.
Malspot -- A castle guard, a handsome, friendly, business-like Hare.
Stellanumba -- A Blackbird, a castle page.
Thistlenip -- A grey and black Goat who guards the front gate.
Volne* -- A she-faun, friends with Wethil, often has dried fruit. A senior washerwoman in the castle.
