Submit event ideas to Antheia and Emilia! We're looking for fun and plausible ideas for what to do this Christmas in both Narnia and Archenland. Ability for large groups to participate and IC plausibility will be given first preference. We'll also choose based on creativity and ease of implementation, though. Winner(s) get a special Christmas gift in addition to the one Father Christmas hands out.

You can submit your idea here, especially if you want to build on each other's ideas. However, we encourage you to p#mail Antheia and Emilia if there is ANY danger of revealing your alts (for instance, if Joe submits an idea but then he actually wants the special Christmas gift to go to his alt Jake).

Archenland Idea:
Not sure if it's a tradition Archenland would have (though I see no reason why it shouldn't be), but I think it would be cool if Coghill had a Christmas Tree. Like, a really big one for in the town square or Streamwood Settlement. I guess I wouldn't know if Archenland has fir trees, but... Perhaps on the mountain slopes there are a few.
If there are, then we could have one day a little before in-game Christmas during which the Coghillians could venture out to go find a tree, cut it down, haul it back, and then all decorate it as a group (hence /large/ tree). Perhaps there would be some food for that day, so a bit of celebration then, but not over the top. Maybe this would be a 'Christmas Eve' (we'd have to shift the day of Christmas of course) thing so that the tree wouldn't die on us. Decorations might be candles, hand-made tinsel-y stuff, ornaments... all of that stuff. Maybe there would be some rp-ed wreath making to hang around town.
On Christmas, then, a feast (because we love them and Saeryn likes making food ), drinks, and merriment. Perhaps a dance (music by townspeople). Maybe singing. Christmas stuff. The thing to set this appart from other feasts? Gift-giving! Kinda like the secret santa from last year, but without a specific target. So we'd act like the villagers had snuck gifts under the tree the night before and they'd be delievered throughout the day (or at a specific time) to their intended. It wouldn't be mandatory to give, or to give to everyone, but just to have that idea out there.
So yeah, my idea. Not sure if it would be too much work and I would LOVE it if other people would expand/change it up.

This contest will be CLOSING on November 25, so that we have time to implement your ideas. We have only a few submissions, so speak up! If you build on each other's ideas, we will give prizes to all parties involved (special presents can be exchanged for silver apples).

Maybe a huge coghill snowball fight? Maybe with nobles too? I dunno....

Those of you who gave me a suggestion, please send me a pagemail reminding me that I owe you a present. I'm going to try to be on top of it but I've been VERY distracted and spotty lately. If you have an idea of what kind of present you would like, let me know that as well.
