You all voted, and you all suffered my insufferable pestering, and data was gathered, and thoughts were thinked and schedules were adjusted and players were hunted down, and we have a date and the date is December 6-7.
and that is really soon you guys that is like next week aaaaahhh
So here's the plan!
December 6th, starting in the early-ish evening, say 5:00 CST, we'll have the hunting party return to Anvard with Shasta's news of Rabadash's cavalry on the road to attack. From here we'll go into the siege, which will last until the evening of the 7th. For this day, we'll need Lune, Cole, Colin, Dar, Darrin, Shar, any servants or squires also on the hunt, as well as any castle soldiers or servants or Andale commoners. Basically, if your character lives in Archenland and you want to be involved, this is the most important day. We'll also need Rabadash and the Tarkaans Corradin, Anradin, Chlamash, Azrooh, and Ilgamuth, as well as any lower-ranking Calormene soldiers.
(Again, if you have a character and you don't know how to get him/her involved, page me and we'll figure stuff out! If you would like to create a character to be involved, page me and we'll get you set up with one!)
December 7th, starting in late afternoon/early evening (CST), we'll have the battle. We need everybody from Narnia, Edmund, Lucy, Peridan, Corin, Shasta/Cor, any Narnian soldiers, plus all Archenland and Calormene FCs and soldiers. Let's tentatively aim for having the Narnians join the battle around 3:00CST and no later than 4:00.
We'll finish up the battle sometime the evening of the 7th, then do a big ol' celebratory FEAST and hang out and have fun. Monday the 8th is also a pretty good date for most people according to the poll, so any loose ends can be wrapped up then.
REGARDING BOOK EVENTS:
You've probably heard something about this already, but here's the scoop: we can't RP out things that are described explicitly in the books. There's copyright issues and things, and we suuuper do not want to do something that would break the law and endanger the game.
- The Narnian muster will not be RPed. If you're playing a Narnian character, you can start RP at the point where you're all sweeping down the mountainside.
- Rabadash's capture and the sudden end of the battle will not be RPed. We'll just fade to black at this point and pick up again with CELEBRATORY FOOD.
- Rabadash being turned into a donkey will not be RPed. HOWEVER, since a lot of you have characters who would logically be there, and since seeing Aslan is kiiind of a life-changing event, we'll have a chat and/or forum topic where you can all discuss how your characters would react and how it will affect them from there on out. Party in the OOC lounge on Monday, what do you all think?
If you've got an FC needed on one of these days who you can't play, please let us know so we can reassign them!
OH ALSO! Everybody log! I want to make a master log for the website after this is all done, I think that would be pretty cool!
