Aslan!

[Drune]

Drune's life similarly has had its rough moments and, in turn, has caused him substantial hardship. Seeing him would have been a dream come true and will have shaken him to his core in the best of possible ways. I see him just standing there, mouth agape and eyes bulging. For Drune, this would have solidified a ton for him as he has become rather devoted to serving Narnia and, more importantly to him, Aslan since joining Winterden. I imagine this will spark some changes in Drune and more than likely increase both his devotion and fire for his Country and the Great Lion.


P.S. Still trying to process how he would fully react, but this is what I got right now. XD

[Aliyah]

Seeing how Aliyah did not originally come from Narnia, she had only heard stories of Aslan from her father. Needless to say, though some (Virika, Crenna, and Layavin) had spoken of him, she was a bit cynical. Granted, she wanted to believe. She has been such a hardened wolf that doing so seemed nearly impossible.

Seeing him would have caused both shock and awe for her. Hearing him speak about pride and anger, albeit to Rabadash, would have made her look at her life more closely. She's already realized she came to the battle for the wrong reason, but in the end, she was glad for coming and defending Archenland.

Her demeanor will undoubtedly change after this encounter, and she will return with news of it as well as many apologies to the other wolves, and in the back of her mind, she will hope to speak with Aslan personally at some point.

[Shar]

Shar returns to his room not long after the feast to write his wife the letter he's been avoiding. Whatever other reaction he may have had, is not clear on the outside, but his merry attitude does seem somewhat amplified after.

[Astera]

Astera was most /definitely/ there (unfortunately due to unforeseen real life complications... her player could not be and has been very sad about this). Quick flash back to Astera's first, disastrous appearance at court had her becoming the "nanny"/nursemaid of Prince Corin while he went to Narnia to become Edmund's squire. During this time she befriended the Queens and became a better person for her experiences. The garden with the statue of Aslan and the statue in town where her favorite spots. She always believed in Him and and so his appearance would have really been probably the best thing in her life (next to her husband and daughter). So yes, she was totally there.

Astera would have gasped softly and gotten very wide eyes. She would have watched everything unfold in awe and pretty much bask in all the glory and joy that is Aslan. She would have loved Lune even more for his compassion (as he has shown much of it to her in the past), and been overjoyed at having the Princes back. (She would also be incredibly happy to be home, as Anvard has always been home to her since she left Carmichael). Afterward, she would have sought some quiet time alone in the castle (perhaps in the top floor garden) to reflect on all that has occurred and how blessed she was to have been part of it--and that she was able to experience it with Tyren and her daughter. (I'd like to think Lana was there too.) This would become a favorite bedtime story and probably a story passed down their line.

[Tyren]

Tyren typically shows little in his demeanor in formal group settings (especially where warfare's involved), so I expect he would have kept his composure for the most part during the proceedings. The Lion's appearance most definitely would have drawn a reaction - a caught breath, widened eyes, double-take - and he'd have been stock-still through the whole thing. It'd have taken him several moments to collect himself afterward, but he'd have been rather more loose, not quite jovial, but definitely with a smile on his face - and, of course, at his wife's side.

He'd have taken some time to himself as well, most likely being found afterward either on the castle's ramparts or on the small stretch of beach near Anvard, looking out toward the sea while alternately fingering the pin on his tunic and the hilt of his sword, a silent reaffirmation of his oaths as a knight and his duties as a lord, and a reminder of the fact he's just met who he's truly sworn his allegiance to.

[Peridan]

First I feel I must give some background about Peridan because he is one of the under established FCs(I hope to remedy this in the coming months.)

Peridan is the nephew of the late queen of Archenland and therefore is related to the royal family of Archenland. Growing up in court, he learned about Aslan but since the witch was still in power, he assumed that the Great Lion was just a hope of the Narnian people. After the fall of the witch, Peridan felt a calling to go to Narnia to help the Pevensies set up the Kingdom of Narnia(After all, they still were children at the time.) He has remained in Narnia for about 14 years.

During his time in Narnia, Peridan heard about Aslan.(I mean, how could he not? He has lived with Lucy, Edmund, Susan, Peter and all other kinds of Narnians for 14 years.) Soon, he came to believe in the existence of the Lion and vowed to serve him, even though he had never seen him before. Therefore, the actual sighting of Aslan had several effects on him.

First, as with most, the first reaction would have been silence mixed with shock and awe. Here was the Lion that he always heard about right in front of him. Any doubt that he might have had is gone for good. He will never forget the realness of it.

Second, Aslan’s dealing with Rabadash has caused him to question himself. If you recall, in the books, it was Peridan who told King Lune that he had every right to kill Rabadash for attacking. Therefore, Peridan favors justice and is not afraid to dole it out. However, seeing Aslan be just but also merciful has caused him to ponder how these two elements can be used together.

Lastly, Peridan is very duty bound. After seeing Aslan, he has had a new sense of duty instilled. He knows that he was sent to aid Narnia and will remain there as long as he is needed.

[Nimera]

Seeing Aslan has changed Nimera's life. She was already an avid follower of him and seeing him in person would have shaken her to her core. Although, she is normally calm and bit expressionless in everyday life, seeing Aslan up close would have caused her to break all neutrally. She would have been speechless for the rest of the night. Afterwards, Nimera would be on a high of happiness for many days following.
