As with all other anniversary announcements, I will stress that this event is occurring in BERUNA on JULY 9. Plan accordingly.
This year, in order to best accommodate the variety of weapons (both natural and otherwise) in Narnia, our tournament is going to occur melee-style: that is to say, like a battle rather than a duel.
It works pretty simply:
To avoid confusion and length no poses will be required.
Battle begins when the moderator (yet to be determined) announces so.
As soon as you are defeated, you are out. No recovering and reentering battle.
The last person left undefeated will be declared the victor.
NOTE: Strategizing is allowed, but I encourage you not to strategize until you are in the melee ring, and I encourage you to do it without the use of ooc. (Thus, posing may be necessary to strategize in some cases. Keep in mind that other players are allowed to attack you while you are writing up a pose or mumble).
The winner will be presented a fabulous prize by the moderator, who we expect to be a Featured Character. In addition, you can probably expect the fame and fortune that comes alongside being a renowned Narnian warrior.
