I would like to add a few notes of some IC scenes that have transpired where characters may ICly have learned about the festival.

Miskord the Eagle has recently moved to Bergdale, and has endeavoured to not be a roost-by-night, gone-by-day resident, and to be a responsible neighbor and participate in community events, even if they aren't typical stolid eagle affairs. He has agreed, with little else to spend his time on, to fetch things for Lola's festival, such as fish eels from the Marshlands and Flintsteels from Sted Cair. He also wants to spend time with his daughter, and has asked around if anyone has seen her. Further, he has been trying to make neighborly contact with a few nearby communities pointed out to him by Skarlieth.

Some specific area briefs in which IC knowledge of the festival has been spread:

Miskord, of course, informed his fellow eagles, so word should be known to eagles residing in Bergdale or Aren Head.
In Cair Paravel, he landed in the courtyard, oblivious to entrance protocols, startling Odell. In their conversation, he mentioned the festival, and especially after learning his friend Lola was organizing the festival, Odell promised he would try to get Their Majesties' permission to attend. Miskord's blunderous entrance might well be a topic of conversation among Palace residents, along with the conversation that ensued mentioning the Bergdale festival.
Thanks to Odell's helpfulness, he procured the flintsteels in Sted Cair (so folk in Sted Cair might have seen the eagle and learned from him about the festival, if not from the nearby Cair Paravel)
In the Marshlands, he encountered and conversed with Wintermoor the Centaur whilst seeking the eels. I grant my permission if Marshland residents who didn't happen to be logged on assume the eagle might have asked them for further directions and learned about the festival that way.
In the Great Woods, Miskord visited Zayev, the alpha of Winterden, and made mention of the festival to him. The Winterden Wolves would likely have been informed about the festival through Zayev (though of course that's up to Zayev).

~~~
I have not yet, but have cause to send Miskord to visit the Centaurs in the Lowlands based on an RPed event with Lola. Also, I think Lola herself and Rimnus have gone on quests for ingredients for recipes for the festival.
Word by now would have spread to Beruna and north-northwestward to the Upper Plains as Miskord is ICly flying to Lantern Waste to procure more ingredients. Miskord should ICly arrive in Lantern Waste tomorrow (I'm giving him 3 days' flight time each way, over the 2 that has been OOCly concurred would be reasonable for most eagles, given his age and his injured left wing). I hope to have a bit of RP in Lantern Waste before acquiring the herbs he seeks and begins a return flight. I may have him swing by the Centaur area on the way back, as he has IC specific cause to visit them, and given how long the Bergdale-to-Lantern Waste round trip flight is anyway, it is probably practical to use the trip as an opportunity to conduct that business rather than making a separate trip later.
I should be available for RP in Lantern Waste tomorrow (the 17th) and probably rest the night until the 18th before heading back to Bergdale.
Alrighty!
Guess what?! You guys have a surprise in store. Everything is decorated and layed out. Well..practically everything. The feast will start in a few hours. Please don't forget! :D
For a few other special things:
Please don't forget about the pie contest if you plan to enter. I haven't heard anyone say that they were interested. Please message me if you are bringing one.
Dancing:
I have taken the liberty of providing dance steps for everyone to pose in a particular order. That way there will be dancing. It's modified so that whomever participates, can do so at their own level and join in at any point in the dance. After the dance you can chose to eat or mingle. My IC father, Lucas, will inform you of whenever the next dance is about to take place. The feast may be extended till Saturday, due to my infinate brightness. (I thought the 31st was a Friday.But that's me...a real blonde!)
Farewell Spring: This is the dance we say farewell to spring with. It has three parts.
The first part is standing in a circle, hands joined. If you can't join hands, you stand in place. You are a one, two, or three. (We can talk that out as you arrive.)
Everyone will walk, trot, scamper, or hop to the right (however you normally travel steadily that is)After four steps, the number ones will go to the middle of the circle, spin however they like or bow, and then travel to the outside of the circle. While number one is spinning/making their way back, number two and three shall bow/curtsey to each other.
That is to happen in round, so that when number one rejoins the company, all of the others will begin taking the four steps, and then number two will go in the middle and spin ect.
After 3 finishes, the direction of the circle changes, and 3 goes into the middle after the four steps, spins, and then rejoins 2 and 1. Then 2 is in the middle ect.
Welcoming Summer Dance
Grab a partner! Don't have one, well, you can stand and do it by yourself. It's a skipping forward and tossing up your arms to welcome summer. As you reach your partner (you should be facing one another) hook elbows, and dance around in a circle. (If you haven't got elbows, merely walk shoulder to shoulder in a circle. Spin three times, step backward five steps and repeat the process!
Have a dance you would like to do? There will be solo time. We'll all watch while we eat and laugh... I mean clap. :)
I'm hoping for a surprise game. Maybe not.
The most important thing to do, is HAVE FUN! AND BE HERE!
I have serious copious amounts of food.
Let them eat pie!
