Re: VERY IMPORTANT POLL

It simply never occurred to me as a child to hear anything other than /k/ in Archenland.

Mind you, it was obvious to me as a child that "vehement" was pronounced "vehehminent", so what do I know?

Outside the Ruins

oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo0oo

You stand at the base of a huge, tumbled pile of rock that is overgrown with grass and a few, scrubby-looking bushes. It appears to be the ruins of what must have been a castle of some kind. In fact ...

The Witches' Council

Caldron Pool

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

The best word for this spot might be grandiose. To the west water roars from a fall, where a river somewhere in the western wilds crashes over Narnia's western border-cliffs to form the great, churning ...

>>> Petraverd's subtext gores Glyn. Glyn cries out as he is left bleeding! :D

Definitely, unicorns have limited options for facial expression, and so I'm attentive to the sort of body language you use. Another species that really strikes me for this problem are the Eagles, and I see some of them ...

Ears!

A couple of other players shared with me recently that they found the ear-posing that some Wolves do a little confusing. Glyn's poses are all about the ears, of course, which might make him the most enigmatic character on the MUCK! ;)

I'm curious what other players think about ear-posing, and ...

Re: New Log Scrubber!

Apologies for the temporary outage of the log scrubber recently. My web hosting service expired and I had to renew it. Everything should be back to normal now.

April Fools' Day Conclusion!

The April Fools' event was a dizzying whirl for me this year! I had a splendid time with some personal firsts: first time I've ever worn a costume (or is that "discovered my inner unicorn"?) and the first year that I was able to attend both the start and the finish (and what a crazy finish it was ...

Re: The Fine Art of Logblogging

I think it would be worthwhile to provide a place on this website where players can link to their logblogs. (That is, if there isn't such a place already that I've just overlooked.) What do folks think of the idea?

Many players link to each other's blogs already, creating little communities of ...
