I've created a new scrubber for your role-play logs on NarniaMUCK: http://leopardus.org/scrubber.html Please try it out and let me know what you think! Feedback will help me with bugs and improvements.
I mostly put it together for myself because there were some quirks to my logs that didn't play nicely with Weisfrill's scrubber (http://www.thelionscall.com/muck/scrubber.cfm). If it's useful for other players, though, then I'd be happy to hand the code over to the staff so that they'd be able to maintain and modify it even in the unlikely event that I disappear.
Hrm, no, that's not right at all. I can't seem to make the problem happen with any of my logs, and so I'm puzzled. Tell you what, I'm going to change the scrubber so that whenever it detects a problem like that, it'll save some info about it so I can take a proper look at it. I'll let you know as soon as that's ready and maybe you'd be kind enough to give it another go then?
No...still a bunch of code. It might be the type of file I use. I connect from the NarniaMUCK website, so I save the files from the in-game online command...I've been trying to scrub the file that saves on my computer. Which isn't a Word file or anything. When I use my logs I open it as a Word file then scrub it myself. Weisfrill's scrubber didn't work for me either...
Ruby nailed it. Thanks Ruby! The problem is that the scrubber doesn't understand HTML logs, which is what the NarniaMUCK FMud client produces by default. You can disable that by unchecking the "HTML Log" box in FMud before saving your log. I've added instructions to the scrubber until I can figure out how difficult it would be to support HTML.
