Rules on Posting Logs?

Are there any rules on what logs may be posted in this forum?

Not really! We'd prefer logs that are no older than a couple of months, but other than that-- if you've had a fantastic RP you feel like sharing, shoot!

Obviously keep it PG, but NO FUNNY BSNS is a house rule with all NarniaMUCK RP, so I don't think it'll ever be an issue in the contest.

I suppose for logs submitted to the RP-log-of-the-week contest it's better to wait for the contest results and only post in this forum logs not published as part of the contest.

Oh! I see what you're saying. This forum is actually for the "top five" or so of every month's submissions. We review the logs you guys have submitted, pick our favorites, and post them here for you to read and vote on. You vote, and the winners get in-game rewards.

You can submit the logs you want to enter in the contest here. Sorry for misunderstanding!

OK, I understand now. The forum is for RP-of-the-month contenders. Anything else goes on my own web site.

Am I allowed to use colors?
I haven't yet seen a RP log with them.

Other staffies can weigh in if they want...

My take is that I have no problem with colors or font changes on log submissions, as long as it's not tough for me to read through the log .

Also, keep in mind that if you submit logs as different alts, using a particular pattern of colors can be a dead giveaway. I can and will change the submissions to keep alt secrecy, but I'd prefer not to have to work to do it .

Now that I'm starting to see logs submitted again (and keep them coming, please!), I'll definitely be organizing another featured RP contest soon.
